Thank you

I have a bit of news to share with you.

Before I get into details, let me thank you, my readers, for making this happen. Honestly, it is  your continual visits and cheerful comments that keeps me motivated. I feel truly encouraged by your response and the kindness you show me.

As many of you may know, I recently participated in the first edition of the Kerala Kitchen event. Yesterday, I was honored and delighted to find out that my Banana blossom with green gram — Vazhakoombum payarum or Chundum payarum won the top dish award. I’ve also received the top contributor award for the most number of entries. What else can I say other than a heartfelt thank you to Magpie and Ria who did an amazing job organizing the event and giving us the opportunity to contribute.

It was such a nice surprise. It has been over a month since I published my first post, and this is the first award for Plateful. I feel lucky and happy. I have received these lovely badges from the host of the event, to display on my blog. Thank you, Magpie!

I hope you take a few minutes to stop by at Magpies Recipes to see the announcement, and take a peak at the dishes of the talented contributors and winners, and of course congratulate them.

Again, thank you all for your support and encouragement!

  8. Have been trying to leave a comment for weeks but the page wasn't loading properly ( I think it has something to do with the fact that I have two google ids that I switch between and nothing with your blog)
